You should ensure the site has the correct land use for a food stall and understand if any Development Approval is needed or if any restrictions apply.

How to apply
To apply, please download and complete the temporary food licence – markets and events application (PDF 227 KB) and return it to us with full payment. You will also need to include a scale plan of the operation and a layout plan.
Delays in the assessment and approval process will occur if you don’t include all the required information.

Process once an application is submitted
- Submit a temporary food stall licence application to us using the application for temporary food licence – markets and events form.
- We will process your application within the legislative timeframe. We will contact you if we need more information.
- When we approve your plans, application and licence, you can run your business, ensuring you comply with your licence conditions.
