The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games are a once-in-a-generation opportunity for our city and our region.
The 2032 Games present an opportunity to make our city and region better, sooner, together through sport.
Centrally located and with a rich and diverse cultural fabric, Logan is well placed to enhance the delivery of the Games as a key partner in South East Queensland and take this special opportunity to bring forward key transformational projects for our future.
To be ready for the Games, we have developed a roadmap to guide our ambitions and planning which focuses on:
- delivery of new community facilities and infrastructure
- stimulating economic growth
- improving the health of Logan residents
- leveraging the cultural diversity of the Logan Community.
The 2032 Games Legacy Roadmap is a foundational stage in developing and implementing our local legacy plan. There are 19 initiatives in the roadmap. Some initiatives will be Council led, some community led and some industry led.

In 2024, we invited the community to share 'big ideas' for the 2032 Games and beyond. Feedback has been collated and is helping us understand the community priorities as we develop the implementation plan.
A community forum will be held in 2025 to gain feedback from a broad range of community members and stakeholders to make the Legacy Roadmap bigger and bolder.
We will continue to engage with our community as we plan in the lead up to the Games to ensure we are ready and can strive for gold!
