Underwood Road Bus Turnaround

Underwood road bus

Project overview

We are making it easier and safer to visit one of our city’s most popular cultural and sporting precincts at Underwood Road, Priestdale.

We are planning to convert the end of Underwood Road into a sealed cul-de-sac, and construct a new, designated bus passenger set down area in front of the Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple. These changes will enable a planned Translink route extension in the future.

This local upgrade is being delivered under our Protocol and Grants Program, funded in part by the Australian Government’s Investing in Our Communities Program.
