The upgrade includes:
a signalised intersection to formalise when vehicles can go, stop and turn
additional street lighting
concrete dividing medians to protect queued vehicles waiting in the turning lanes
new signalised pedestrian crossings at the intersection
dedicated on-road bicycle lanes approaching the intersection on Teviot Road
