Project outcomes

We are planning road rehabilitation works at Quinzeh Creek Road, Logan Village. These works are part of our Rehabilitation program to improve the local roads in our City.

Quinzeh Creek Road - Work Notice (PDF 283.32)

 

These works are aimed at rehabilitating and widening Quinzeh Creek Road in front of Opal Retirement Village.

What is happening?

Works will include:

  • pavement reconstruction
  • installation of a left-hand slip lane into Opal Retirement Village
  • reinstatement of footpath and cycle way
  • turf and landscape works
  • line marking.

When is it happening?

Works are scheduled from late August to December 2024, site and weather conditions permitting.

Works will generally occur Monday to Friday, between 6:30am to 4:30pm. However, some works may extend outside these hours.

Project impacts

  • Changed traffic conditions including reduced speed limits, short term lane closure and detours (as needed).
  • Increased noise, dust and vibration.
  • Footpath detours and closures
  • Potential disruptions to utility services, service provider(s) will notify you of any planned outages.

The road upgrade project will deliver a range of benefits, including: 

  • improved traffic flows 
  • more reliable travel times 
  • safer intersections
