Mowing maintenance

Council maintains over 19,000 hectares of grass, including more than 780 parks across Logan.

Mowing maintenance is scheduled on a seasonal basis, with increased frequency in summer when grass grows faster. Significant rainfall or prolonged dry periods can disrupt this schedule. In such cases, services are rescheduled as soon as it is safe and practical.

Generally, the frequency of service ranges from monthly in winter to fortnightly in summer, while high-profile parks and sports fields are serviced weekly during the peak of summer.

If you notice an overgrown park in your local area, it is likely due to recent or current weather conditions. You can report overgrown grass online.
