Updating your pet’s microchip details
Remember to update your pet’s microchip details if you move address or change your contact details.
To change your pets microchip details, use the Pet Address website. You will need your pet’s 15 digit microchip number. The site will tell you who your pet’s microchip is registered with so you can contact them directly to update any details.
Important Microchipping Information – Home SafeID
We have been informed that the Home SafeID microchip registration database is no longer active and the Home SafeID website will soon be unavailable. Home SafeID has been a provider used by companies such as AWLQ and RSPCA. We urgently ask that all pet owners check which database their pet’s microchip is registered with through Pet Address.
For pets currently registered with Home SafeID, it is essential to re-register their microchip with an approved national database. Please note that a registration fee, set by the approved microchip registry may apply.
Below are the names of approved registries:
To ensure your pet is properly identified and can be safely reunited with you should they ever become lost, we strongly urge all pet owners to check their microchip details as soon as possible.
