The Black Spot Program was introduced as part of the Australian Government's commitment to reduce the risk of crashes. The program targets locations where crashes have occurred or are at risk of happening.
We are committed to improving road safety across Logan. The upgrade will help deliver a safer intersection by introducing a signalised intersection to formalise when vehicles can go, stop and turn, and introducing pedestrian crossing at the traffic lights.

Project features
To make the location safer, we will:

- install signalised pedestrian crossings at the intersection and remove the lollypop school crossing areas
- resurface and restore the road where needed
- update line markings, including longer turning lanes to improve traffic flow
