Did you know Council is delivering projects that help improve and activate our cities key centres?

Logan has a network of centres that play an important role in the growth and development of our city.

Since 2016, we have hosted 6 city centre summits. Where residents, businesses, investors and government leaders gathered to discuss ideas and future priorities.

More than 5200 ideas where submitted during the summits and through activities online and in person.

These ideas where used to identify short, medium and long-term projects that will help fast track the vision for each centre.

These documents are the 6 summit implementation plans (Springwood, Beenleigh, Logan Village, Logan Central, Meadowbrook and Jimboomba). Narration:
To date, more than $20 million of funding from Council and other grants will deliver several priority projects. These projects are led by our dedicated Place Managers.

And include improved streetscapes, free Wi-Fi, a destination playground, a community big screen, shared pathways.

And many other exciting place making projects that will benefit the community and support businesses.

Description:
The screen splits into 6 equal sized squares, each of a different colour. There is a person in each square representing people from different backgrounds and cultures. These images are replaced by a map of Logan with 4 large icons shown on top of it. The icons are a house, a briefcase, a playground and a camera. These icons represent Logan being a place to live, work, play and visit.

The is all about working together to help make Logan an even better place to live, work, play and visit.
