Logan River Tinnie Trail

The Logan River Tinnie Trail tells the story of the history along the Logan River.

It describes the heartache and triumphs of the people who chose to create a life on the riverbanks. It also details the walking trails in our premier riverside park, Riverdale.

The Logan River Tinnie Trail was written by Mary Howells and illustrated by Darren Johnson. The illustrations include a series of sketches and a spectacular colour map.

Ridge to Ridge: Recollections from Woodridge to Park Ridge

Ridge to Ridge by Mary Howells tracks the history of Woodridge, Kingston, Marsden, Crestmead, Browns Plains, Greenbank and Park Ridge.

It’s a great companion to the Logan River Tinnie Trail and provides information from first settlement through to 2006. It provides a personal view of Logan’s history through 150 photographs and interviews with 20 local residents.
