Greenbank Night Works Project
We are undertaking repairs to sections of Middle Road, Goodna Road, Spring Mountain Drive and Pub Lane, Greenbank to improve safety.
These repairs will address pooling water at the location which creates a hazard for drivers during wet weather. It will help provide a safer road by reducing the risk of potential crashes while also protecting the road surface and pavement.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the project needed?
With Logan’s population set to continue growing, we are delivering record investment in our roads to ensure they are fit for the future.
During wet weather events Middle Road experiences a lot of water pooling which causes hazards for drivers. These repairs will improve both the safety and condition of the road for everyday users and will help also deliver improved flood immunity. The works also help restore the original road shoulder and drain profile.
Will there be any night or weekend works?
Works will generally occur at night between 6:00pm to 4:30am, from Sunday to Thursday. Should works extend beyond these hours, we will notify affected residents.
These works will be undertaken during the night to minimise traffic impacts to road users as there can be over 10,000 vehicles in Middle Road per day.
How will you manage construction impacts such as increased noise, dust and lighting?
We recognise that road repair works often mean increased construction noise, dust and lighting for nearby residents.
We will implement measures to reduce these impacts as much as practical including:
- suppressing dust on site during the works (using a water truck or use of a dust suppression agent)
- lighting will be targeted at the work zone, lay down areas and directed away from properties as much as possible
- we will make every effort to reduce noise as much as possible but some activities mean that noise will be unavoidable at times.
