As part of the KRANK program, you will be able to:
- receive funding to cover the cost of your activity. This may include the costs of facilitator fees, consumable materials and venue hire
- charge a low-cost participant fee, usually up to $5 per person (retained by you). Please consider the Logan community by offering a free or nominal fee for activities.
In addition to this you’ll:
- receive promotion of your activity through the kids and teens KRANK booklets, Logan City Council website, social media posts, newsletters and community events
- have community exposure of your organisation/business at local events as part of the KRANK program
- be making a difference to the lives of families and young people in Logan.
Frequently asked questions
How is the amount of funding determined?
You can specify the amount of funding required to deliver your activity. The following are some of the factors taken into consideration when funding is determined:
- a cost breakdown of your activity
- value for money
- income from participant fees
- participation numbers
- activity delivery (e.g. duration)
- community need
- benefit to the community.
What happens to the fee paid by participants at my activity?
The agreed participant fee is paid by participants directly to the provider. Any participant fees collected are retained by the provider.
How many activities can I apply for?
You can apply for as many activities as you have capacity to manage, promote and deliver. Applying for activities doesn’t guarantee you’ll be successfully programmed to deliver them as part of the KRANK program. You’ll be informed if you’re successful to deliver each activity.
