Petitions express the views of the Principal petitioner and may not represent the views of Council.

This petition is for Logan City Council to find a permanent home for the Forestdale Neighbourhood Watch (FNHW) in Lincoln Green Park. This will allow the FNHW to expand operations and bring their countless materials to one location. Equipment requiring storage include:

• trailers
• coreflutes
• signs
• BBQs, and
• 200 table and chairs, which are hired out by community members

The long-term goal for the FNWH is for the organisation to have a permanent facility or shed in Lincoln Green Park, Forestdale on council owned land.

As the only large community organisation in Forestdale, this request comes with overwhelming support from the community. Currently the FNHW store their equipment across half a dozen properties.

FNHW's goal is to have a central facility located in our primary site for storage, meetings, events and general use by the community. This would include allowing other smaller groups to use the facility with Logan City Council's permission.
