About this event

Learn the basics of fishing with the award winning team at 2 Bent Rods. This monthly fishing series is designed to empower women of all skill levels with the tools and confidence to fish independently. Starting with the basics and progressing each month, you’ll gain practical experience in a supportive and inclusive environment. All equipment and bait is supplied.

Participants who attend at least 4 sessions in this series, will go home with a free rod and reel combo.

Important information:

For most activities you will need to:

  • wear enclosed shoes
  • bring a water bottle
  • wear suitable clothing and bring a towel
  • bring a hat and sunscreen for outdoor activities

To participate in the Active and Healthy program, each person is required to complete a registration form every three months. These forms are available from the activity provider or at Active & Healthy.
