Community event bins for non-profit organisations

Eligible community organisations hosting a community event within Logan can apply for up to $400 per financial year to use towards 240 litre standard or recycle bins for events. On average, these funds will allow for up to 39 waste or recycling bins.

Eligibility

Applicants must be an organisation operating within Logan. Applications will be accepted from the following:

  • community organisations
  • community based sporting groups
  • eligible charities
  • State schools.

If you are not eligible to apply for community event bins, you are able to hire special event bins from Council. Please see Community event bins for organisations that aren’t non-profit for more information.

How to apply

To apply for community event bins, please fill out our online form. You must complete the online form at least 14 days before the event date. We will not be able to deliver the bins if your application is not submitted within this timeframe.
