Clarke Road/Lindenthal Road, Park Ridge Road intersection video transcript.
The Black Spot Program was introduced as part of the Australian Government's commitment to reduce the risk of crashes. The program targets locations where crashes have occurred or are at risk of happening.
As Park Ridge continues to grow, more people and cars at this intersection has led to an increase in incidents. The upgrade will improve safety and accommodate future traffic demands as the area continues to grow.
Over a recent five-year period, there were 10 confirmed crashes resulting in 60 percent of vehicle occupants being hospitalised.
We are committed to improving road safety across Logan. This upgrade will help deliver a safer intersection by reducing the risk of potential crashes.
Project timeline
Subject to weather and site conditions, construction is expected to start in September 2024. Nearby residents will be notified ahead of the works
