Clarke Road/Lindenthal Road/Park Ridge Road intersection upgrade

Clark Road, Lindenthal Road, Park Ridge Road intersection

Project overview

We are upgrading the intersection of Clarke Road, Lindenthal Road, and Park Ridge Road in Park Ridge with support from the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program.

Latest update

Upgrade plans for the Park Ridge Road intersection with Clarke Road and Lindenthal Road are now complete.

The intersection is an important connection point through Park Ridge between Mt Lindesay Highway to the west and Chambers Flat Road to the east, Crestmead, and parts of Park Ridge to the south.

We will communicate with residents and business owners before works begin with further details, including timing and what you can expect.

The Black Spot Program was introduced as part of the Australian Government's commitment to reduce the risk of crashes. The program targets locations where crashes have occurred or are at risk of happening.

As Park Ridge continues to grow, more people and cars at this intersection has led to an increase in incidents. The upgrade will improve safety and accommodate future traffic demands as the area continues to grow.

Over a recent five-year period, there were 10 confirmed crashes resulting in 60 percent of vehicle occupants being hospitalised.

We are committed to improving road safety across Logan. This upgrade will help deliver a safer intersection by reducing the risk of potential crashes.

Project timeline

Subject to weather and site conditions, construction is expected to start in late August 2024. Nearby residents will be notified ahead of the works

Design work on the intersection upgrade started in June 2022 and was completed in May 2023.
