Project overview

We have upgraded the intersection of Clarke Road, Lindenthal Road, and Park Ridge Road in Park Ridge.

This project was delivered with support from the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program.

Latest update The traffic signals at the intersection are now operational.

Construction of the intersection is now complete. Works started in September 2024 and completed in December 2024.

The Black Spot Program was introduced as part of the Australian Government's commitment to reduce the risk of crashes. The program targets locations where crashes have occurred or are at risk of happening.

We are committed to improving road safety across Logan. This upgrade is delivering a safer intersection by reducing the risk of potential crashes.

Project features

The upgrade includes:

  • dedicated turning lanes controlled by traffic lights
  • increased vehicle queue space on right turn lanes
  • signalised pedestrian crossings
  • upgraded intersection lighting
  • upgraded traffic islands
  • removing all left turn slip lanes
  • dedicated on-road bicycle lanes
  • new line markings and traffic signs
  • new kerbing to improve road and verge drainage.
