BushCare program

Volunteers in the bush

Learn conservation techniques and apply them to local bushland areas.

Active since 1998, volunteers have worked to restore and protect our conservation areas. The program focuses on:

  • controlling weeds
  • planting new habitats
  • propagating native plants
  • observing and recording native flora and fauna.

Volunteers also learn more about:

  • identifying native specifies
  • environmental restoration
  • eradicating weeds
  • water monitoring
  • community engagement.
