The City of Logan Biosecurity Plan (PDF 2.94 MB) describes how we will manage specific pests in Logan.
The plan covers 223 pest plants and animals, from foxes through to cat’s claw creeper, and explains what we will do to manage their impact on our environment.
In Queensland, the Biosecurity Act 2014 says that all Queenslanders have a ‘general biosecurity obligation’. This means that everyone is responsible for managing pest plants and animals that:
- are under their control
- they know about or should reasonably be expected to know about.
