Beenleigh Road Upgrade

Project overview

We have completed a project to widen and improve Beenleigh Road in Underwood from Millers Road to near Cascade Drive.

With our city’s population set to increase by more than 50 per cent by 2041, improving our road network is one of the ways Logan City Council is preparing for the future.

Widening of the northern side of Beenleigh Road creates a continuous four-lane road for the entire stretch of Beenleigh Road from Millers Road to Logan Road, to help reduce traffic congestion.

The project is funded through the Australian Government’s Local Roads Community Infrastructure (LRCI) program.
