History
The name Glenlogan recognises the former location of Glenlogan Park thoroughbred stud farm on Lance Road.
On 29 September 2017, the Department of Resources completed the boundaries for the new suburbs of Riverbend and Glenlogan. At the same time, boundaries were changed for the surrounding suburbs of Flagstone, Jimboomba and South Maclean. The community were involved in consultations about the boundary changes and the new suburbs.
The area of Glenlogan is expected to grow over the next 20 years, with around 50,000 new houses to be built for a future population of 120,000.
Any changes to locality boundaries in the new urban development will ensure the boundaries reflect the future structure of the community and ensure minimal address changes for residents.
