A new all abilities fenced playground is requested for the local community of Logan. My son who lives with Autism Level 2 and thoroughly enjoys playing at the park. These outings can become a stressful outing for all involved due to no fencing causing absconding issues and safety concerns. Our local playgrounds have not been upgraded in many years causing issues of outdated equipment, repair needs and difficulty accessing equipment. We frequently have to travel to the North of Brisbane to attend the all abilities playground at Everton Park or similar areas as they provide safety measures such as fencing and all inclusive play equipment "Accessible and inclusive playgrounds are places where children of all abilities can experience fun and challenging play alongside their friends and family members."
Your local community of Logan requests that a new all abilities fenced playground is introduced for all to use to ensure inclusivity and awareness. There are multiple playgrounds that can be upgraded for this intended purpose of creating a safer environment for our children: 1. Middle Park Boronia Heights 2. Crestmead Park, Crestmead
