Can we bring our own picnic set up like rugs and chairs?
Yes, we encourage everyone to bring their own low chairs, rugs and picnic set-ups to create their own space on the lawn. Please be mindful of others. We can't allow tents, shelters or in-ground umbrellas as they affect other's view of the stage.
Are the activities all free?
YES! All activities are completely free.
Where can I find the program, including stage set times?
The program is not available to the public yet but it's coming soon. It'll be made available here on this webpage, so keep an eye out.
How do we get there? What's the parking like?
The best way to get to the City of Logan Christmas Carols is catching public transport like the train or bus - both stopping a short, walkable distance from the venue. We recommend taking advantage of the 50 cent fares. We will have parking available at Gould Adams park which is also a short, walking distance from the venue. This parking is limited and will likely fill fast so plan to arrive early.
Is the event disability-friendly?
It certainly is! Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct was actually awarded the 'Most Accessible Venue of the Year' award. This event will have accessible parking near entrances, a designated drop-off area, fully accessible restrooms, advanced hearing assistance technologies, and exclusive seating near the main stage for guests with accessibility needs and their companions.
Will there be shade?
Yes, this year we have a new and improved site plan which offers more shaded areas for attendees to keep out of the sun. Please still wear sun-safe clothing, wear a hat and ensure you bring plenty of sunscreen for the whole family.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Absolutely, you are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks with you to Logan Carols. Just make sure the drinks are sealed (unopened) and strictly non-alcoholic.
What types of food trucks will be there?
With over 20 plus food trucks, there will be options for the whole family including wings, burgers, hot dogs, kebabs, Asian, Mexican, waffles, ice cream, doughnuts and much more. There will be low-cost and dietary-friendly options for all.
What market stalls will be there?
We will have a few market stalls selling a range of unique products from handmade craft items and quilts, jewellery, hair accessories, plus beautifully illustrated children’s books about Australian wildlife where you can even meet the author!
