Local Plans

Council's local plans provide guides for the development of local areas within Logan. The following local plan projects are either in progress or have been endorsed by Council. Please view the following links for more information about each of these projects.

Bahrs Scrub

The Bahrs Scrub Local Development Area Plan identifies areas suitable for urban puposes and areas to be conserved and managed for different purposes. The plan also identifies the necessary infrastructure to support Bahrs Scrub.

Jimboomba

The Jimboomba Local Plan guides the development for the area over the next 20 years and caters for the needs of its existing and future residents. Maps of the Land Use Plan, Precinct Plan, Transport Plan and Public Transport Network are available for download.

Logan Village

The Logan Village Local Plan will guide development for the area over the next 20 years, catering for the needs of its existing and future residents. The plan, map, fact sheet and frequently asked questions are available for download.

Loganholme Neighbourhood Planning

Council received invaluable feedback from the community on the previously advertised Loganholme Neighbourhood Plan. After reviewing the community's feedback, the plan as previously advertised will not be progressed. Council will continue to work with the community to develop a new plan for the area.

Loganlea Neighbourhood Planning

Council has prepared a Neighbourhood Plan for Loganlea. The project aims to create a well planned, high amenity, residential community that assists in accommodating Logan's growing population and maximises access to public transport, health services, and employment and training opportunities.
