Food Safety Training

I'M ALERT

I'M ALERTAll food businesses have obligations to produce safe food and Council is assisting food businesses to meet these obligations by providing free access to the I'M ALERT online food safety training tool. Refer to the I'M ALERT Food Safety Training (PDF 483 KB) fact sheet for more information.

There is a high demand for training within the food sector. The I'M ALERT program will assist food handlers in developing the required skills and knowledge to ensure food is handled in a safe and hygienic manner.

I'M ALERT is easy to follow, includes an entertaining presentation as well as interactive quizzes. A training acknowledgement form can be printed upon completion and be kept as a part of your staff records.

Please ensure you turn off your pop-up blocker before you start the training. Failure to do so may cause the screen to refresh and your session and settings will be lost. It is recommended you select either the 'save', or 'notify' options on completion of a session, as Council is not able to provide you with a replacement certificate, if it is lost.

Conduct the training now by visiting EHA I'M ALERT.

Council is interested in your feedback on the I'M ALERT program. Complete our I'M ALERT Training Feedback survey and go into our monthly prize draw.
