Allconnex Water
From 1 July 2010 three combined distribution/retail entities began the ownership of the water and wastewater distribution infrastructure and selling of water and wastewater disposal services to customers.
Distribution infrastructure includes reticulation pipes, reservoirs, pumps (i.e. all non bulk transport assets) and sewage treatment plants.
The entities sell and deliver water to customers, collect wastewater and deliver it to treatment plants, treat and dispose of the wastewater, and purchase treated water. Allconnex Water, a new council-owned business, is responsible for delivering water and wastewater services to Gold Coast, Logan and Redland City areas.

Allconnex Water
Allconnex Water is a specialist water business, owned by Gold Coast, Logan and Redland City councils, formed out of the Water Reform process.
When you receive your next rates notice from Council it will no longer include water and wastewater charges. You will receive a separate bill for your water and wastewater from Allconnex Water about one month later.
