The attributes of Logan are shared with the release of the new Logan song. Cornubia musician Jules Makk was named the winner of the Logan Song Competition for his entry, Come Alive in Logan.
The aim of the Logan Song Competition was to strengthen community spirit after the expansion of Logan City and create a sense of pride for residents.
The original lyrics and composition was provided by Jules Makk of Cornubia, with additional lyrics coming from Bel Morrison, Jay Turner and Cath Mundy, Lisa Young, Vicky MacDonald and Brian Sutton.
The song was arranged by Brian Sutton of Music & Lyrics, who wrote the official welcome song for the 2000 Olympic Games, and John Rodriquez of Singchronicity, with Mr Sutton undertaking the recording and production, as well as providing the instrumental performances.
