Terms and conditions are the set of terms that control a contract. One or both of the contracting parties may submit terms. They will not apply to the contract until and unless all parties to the contract agree on those terms. Council’s standard terms of trading are 30 days from statement date and delivery terms are Free Into Store (FIS). This can only be varied by the prior approval of the Supply Manager and only in cases where there is a benefit to Council. “Benefit” may be financial or strategic.
